The Cactus Flower
Comedy by Pierre Barillet / Jean-Pierre Grédy
Dr. Julian Schmied's life is going perfectly. His practice is thriving, the relationship with his mistress - Antonia - is developing satisfactorily, and the invented family, to avoid having to marry the mentioned mistress, is flourishing excellently. So excellently, in fact, that Antonia decides to end the relationship in favor of Julian's family. This was attempted to be prevented by Julian with an invented divorce from an invented wife and a marriage proposal to Antonia. However, Antonia wants to ask the future ex-wife for her blessing for the divorce/marriage. But where to get the invented family for the separation now? Join us for a crazy evening full of laugh muscle-straining confusions and intricacies.
THE CACTUS FLOWER – became famous especially through the film adaptation with Ingrid Bergman and Walter Matthau – has also been an 'evergreen' on stage since the mid-sixties.
A wonderful comedy that has also been successfully filmed!
